I'm from Nottingham, and I know that there are a fair few Nott and Derby guys in CiA.

We (myself and a couple of the other guys on the forum here, plus some others who have WW2 kit but haven't made it to an event yet) are all local and tend to go along to Fireball near Brum every so often. We have been waving the WW2 flag there for a while now, and i am sure I could round up a few people for an open day out with some notice.

While I prefer to go to more immersive and well organised themed events, I can cope with the odd saturday afternoon running round mindlessly shooting my mates every so often :)

Hiya guys

Long time since I posted on this forum. I'm afraid I've been doing 'the unthinkable' and poncing around in lots of modern gear at open days - :happydance:

Anyways, BK, I hear you man! :good: I'm from the midlands, Shirley to be precise, and my regular site is Fireball. I've been to the midlands Gunman site, too, and like it a lot. I would certainly be up for a meet up of midlands based WW2ers, and there are plenty of midlands sites to choose from just now

Harborne Blue and I were talking just the other day at the last Fireball open day about organising a WW2 themed day at FB. We still want to go ahead with that, but the idea of meeting up on October 9th sounds bang on. I won't be able to make the FB open day on the 2nd so any excuse to get out and play the following week is good for me :good:

I've long been of the opinion that the Midlands represents the best area for a game location as it's accessible from both the frozen north and the softie south without incurring stupidly long drive times either way.
I suppose the clue is in the name

Middle England isn't middle Britain though (luckily the Scots are VERY well catered for by SnS and POW). That's why CiA like to move about the country - it gives players all over England and Wales a chance to have a game reasonably near them at some time or another (at the expense of course of those who it isn't near  ). Not to mention giving players the opportunity to sample the most interesting and different airsoft sites around the UK.

Sadly they aren't all in the Midlands else it would save me a hell of a lot of travelling!

So I guess it'll be a while until the ORK's are in an event line up? :D

Not......England????

Sorry, but those two words just cant be put next to each other without a lot of dots and accompanying question marks indicating bafflement.

Unless of course your talking about an event located in the left hand bit of Baden-Württemberg which happens to be convenient for me, in which case Not England is perfectly acceptable :D .
